UK Clubs Ranked : 1961-2019

I allocated points for teams in the UK elite division league and various cup competitions. It goes back to 1961 up to 2019, but some competitions haven't run all that time. There are less competitions today. This is how it was done.

Elite League: Top four / 6,3,2,1 points.
Finals : Top four / 6,4,2,1 points. (excluding 1963, 64).
Challenge Cup: Top two / 6,3 points.
Lancashire Cup: Top two / 3,1 points (up to 1993).
Yorkshire Cup: Top two / 3,1 points (up to 1993).
League Cup: Top two / 4,2 points (up to 1996).
BBC Floodlit: Top two / 3,1 points (1966 to 1980)
World Club Challenge: Four points for a UK winner (Variable years).

Total points are 2,506 plus 56 WCC. St Helens is top in the UK by the slightest of margins and if the WCC is added, then Wigan closes to within one point of Saints. Yorkshire is the most successful region with 1,145 and 44.7% of the total, including the WCC.
