A surprising number of games to cover here. So let's get into it.
14th September, Turkey Women vs Greece Women, Edirne, Turkey
The game was quite close in the first period, with the hosts ahead 15-0 at half time. They then ran away with the game in the second half.

14th September, Serbia Women vs Canada Women, Belgrade, Serbia
The more experienced visitors were expected to win but it was the Serbia Eagles that went to a 6-0 lead. After 40 minutes and the break came, the Canada Maple Leaf side was ahead 22-6. The second half had less points scored but the visitors were in control.

21st September, Serbia Women vs Canada Women, Belgrade, Serbia
In a tight first stanza, the Maple Leaves (is the plural correct?) only lead 8-4, The last 40 minutes belonged to Canada as the locals tired.

5th October, Turkey Women vs France Women, Istanbul, Turkey
The Turkish side had its sternest test when France Women came calling. The Tricolores were ahead 30-0 after 40 minutes and the second half was a continuation of that. At least the Turkey Women managed to score, which always lifts the spirits.
France Women 54-4 Turkey Women.
25th October, Australia Women vs NZ Women, Wollongong, Australia
The Kiwi Ferns went into the clash having secured the World Cup Nine's (a shortened version of the game).
Over 8,000 were in attendance to watch the match. The Jillaroos were much slicker than their opponents and led 18-4 at the break. The Kiwi Ferns attempted a comeback in the second period but the hosts were too good.

9th November, PNG Women vs England Women, Goroka, PNG
In was in the Eastern Highlands that the Lionesses took on the PNG Orchids in the first of two matches. England led 8-0 when they went to the sheds for a break and helped by E Rudge scoring four tries they won quite comfortably.
England Women 24-10 PNG Women.
16th November, PNG Women vs England Women, Port Moresby, PNG
The contest was much closer down in the capital and The Orchids led 10-6 after the first 40. It looked like the the game was going to end as a draw but a late try to the local side secured a famous victory and sent the crowd wild.
