UK Rugby League Quiz : Post WW II

Here are a few questions you may be interested in answering. The answers appear below. All of the questions from 1945-6 to 2024.

1) Four clubs have been long term participants in the elite division in the UK. Can you name them? 

2) Do you know which club has the longest unbroken run in the top flight?

3) Which club has the longest record of consecutive finals series participation, back from the 2024 season? This doesn't mean grand final appearances.

4) Taking Challenge Cup appearances from the quarter finals stage, which club has been there the most?

1) Leeds, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan. 

2) Leeds, since the 1946-47 season. The Saints go back as far as the 1952-53 season. 

3) St Helens, going back the the 1964-65 season. That's consistency.

4) Wigan, with 54. Leeds and St Helens with 49 each and Warrington (46 times) come close.
